The Honorable Mayor and City Council
of the City of Chula Vista
Civic Center
Chula Vista, California
Subject: PCS-7o-6 Chula Vista Gardens, Unit #6 - Modification of
condition of approval
Gentlemen:
At the meeting held July 20, 1970, the City Planning Commission considered
a request for a modification of a condition of approval for this sub-
division which was a requirement for off-site improvement of the north
side of East Palomar Street, west of Unit #6, extending to Nolan Avenue.
The subdividers claim that the property in question is not in their
ownership, and further, that they have been unable to acquire this property.
Both the Planning and Engineering staffs are in agreement that the south
side of East Palomar with existing improvements can service this pro-
posed subdivision as additional access can be gained through Nacion Avenue
connecting to the north and south. The Commission, therefore, recommends
to your honorable body that this condition of approval be waived.
