Re: Employees' Organization -
Recognition and Payroll
Dues Checkoff
Gentlemen:
The employees of the City of Chula Vista, exclusive of
those in Law Enforcement and Fire-Fighting classifications,
have expressed their interest in formal representation by
affiliating with the San Diego County Employees' Association.
In accordance with your employees' desire, under the pro-
visions of the Milias-Meyers-Brown Act, California Govern-
ment Code, the San Diego County Employees' Association
hereby requests formal recognition and official authori-
zation for member dues checkoff.
Our Employees' Association Articles of Incorporation and
By-Laws, together with the appropriate roster of officers
and staff, have been filed with your Chief Administrative
Officer for official records.
We trust that your recognition of the San Diego County
Employees' Association will provide the appropriate vehicle
for meaningful employer-employee relations in the City of
Chula Vista. Thank you for your early consideration of
this request.
Sincerely,
DODGE H. EAN OTTO W. HAHN
