HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1970-5710Form No. 370 Revm 9-67 RESOLUTION NO® 5710 RESOLUTTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACP.TIQN ACT OF 1941, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION OF SHASTA STREET AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has determined that the public interest and convenience of said City re- quire the vacation of NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of Shasta Street more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation under the pro- visions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and hereby fixes 7:00 p.m. , the 21st day of July , 19 70, in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 276 Guava Avenue, Chula Vista, California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the pro- posed vacationo BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and he is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resol- ution to be published once in the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of general circulation published within the City of Chula Vista, and to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law, Presented by ,~ Lane F.
