RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH CDC
SMALL BUSINESS FINANCE CORP. TO WORK WITH THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO MARKET FINANCIAL SERVICES
TO CHULA VISTA BUSINESSES
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista ("City") is committed to providing high quality
economic development services to existing and prospective businesses and offering access to capital
for these businesses; and
WHEREAS, CDC Small Business Finance Corp. ("CDC") is the nation's top community-
based economic development lender and the top SBA lender in San Diego County; and
WHEREAS, it is in the mutual interests of the City and CDC to promote economic
development finance programs within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does
hereby approve the agreement between the City of Chula Vista and CDC Small Business Finance
Corp. to carry out the terms of the agreement in the form presented, copies of which shall be kept
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
BE IT FLIRTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Chula Vista.
