RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ELECTING TO PROCEED UNDER SECTION 19.2402 OF THE
CHULA VISTA CITY CODE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO IMPOSE
RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE MOVEMENT OF
VEHICLES AS CONTAINED IN THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE
CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE
ON PRIVATE STREETS AND PARKING AREAS LOCATED IN THAT
CERTAIN PROPOSED SUBDIVISION TO BE KNOWN AS APOLLO
UNIT NO. 2, PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has been
requested by the Subdivider of the proposed subdivision to be known as
Apollo Unit No. 2, a Planned Residential Development, for which a final
map has heretofore been approved by Resolution No. 6045, adopted on the
27th day of April, 1971, to impose rules and regulations governing the
movement of vehicles as contained in the Traffic Code of the City of
Chula Vista and the California Vehicle Code upon said streets and
parking areas of said subdivision pursuant to the provisions of Section
19.2402 of the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of
the City Council of the City of Chula Vista to impose rules and regula-
tions governing the movement of vehicles as contained in the Traffic
Code of the City of Chula Vista and the California Vehicle Code upon
the streets and parking areas in that certain proposed subdivision to
be known as Apollo Unit No. 2, a Planned Residential Development, more
particularly described as:
Being a subdivision of a portion of the Westerly Half
of Fractional Quarter Section 92 of Rancho de la Nacion,
in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State
of California, according to Map thereof No. 166, filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
May 11, 1869.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Section
19.2402 in imposing said rules and regulations and hereby fixes the
hour of 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the 22nd day of June, 1971 in the Council
Chambers in the Civic Center, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California,
as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting
to establishing such rules and regulations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to cause a copy of this
resolution to be published once in the Chula Vista Star News, a news-
paper of general circulation published within in the City of Chula Vista.
