RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACKNO~LEDGING RECEIPT OF THE NOTICE OF INTENTION
TO CIRCULATE PETITIONS TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF CHULA VISTA AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF SAID
PETITIONS

The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
received a Certificate of Publication dated March 15, 1971 from the
Clerk of the Superior Court of the State of California in and for
the County of San Diego, which Certificate certifies that a notice
of intention to circulate petitions to annex certain territory known
as the Sweetwater Valley Annexation, County of San Diego, State of
California to the City of Chula Vista has been published in the
Chula Vista Star News on March 14, 1971, and
WHEREAS, said Certificate of publication and a copy of
said notice has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Chula
Vista on March 17, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does hereby acknowledge receipt of the
notice of intention to circulate petitions to annex certain terri-
tory known as the Sweetwater Valley Annexation in the County of
San Diego, State of California to the City of Chula Vista, which
territory is more particularly described in said Certificate of
PUblication, which is marked as Exhibit "A", and attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Chula Vista does hereby approved the circulation of said petition
or petitions.
