DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING
CALIFORNIA
October 6, 1970
The Honorable Mayor and City Council
of the City of Chula Vista
Civic Center
Chula Vista, California
Subject: Final Map of Windsor Heights
At the meeting of October 5, 1970, the City Planning Commission
considered the final map of Windsor Heights, which contains 56
lots for construction of single family dwellings together with
a common open space area designated as Lot 1. This subdivision
was filed as a Planned Unit Development and is located on the east
side of Interstate 805 directly north of Windsor Park subdivision.
Since the map is in conformance with the tentative map, the
Commission recommends approval subject to the following:
1. That the designated planted island located in the, center of the
cul-de-sac on Sheffield Court be included as part of Lot 1 and,
therefore, not dedicated to the City.
2. That a revision to the grading plan for the area centered be-
tween Lots 10 through 23 be submitted to the Pl anni ng staff for
approval prior to the submission of the final map to City Council.
3. That necessary pedestrian access to Hilltop High School, via the
cul-de-sac at the westerly portion of this subdivision, be
included on the final map.
