RESOLUTION N0. 6113 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ELECTING TO PROCEED UI+IDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941, DECLARIiJG THE INTENTIOTd OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA TO VACATE A PORTION OF "I" STREET FROM I-5 FREEWAY TO TIIE CURONADO BRANCH RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, A PORTIOPd OF WALNUT AVENUE SOUTH OF "H" STREET, AND A PORTIOrd OF AN ALLEY SOUTH OF "H'° STREET, AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has de- termined that the public interest and convenience of said City requires the vacation of a portion of "I" Street from I-5 Freeway to the Coronado Branch Railroad right-of-way, a portion of Walnut Avenue south of "H'" Street, and a portion of an alley south of "I3" Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council to order the vacation of a portion of '"I" Street from I-5 Freeway to the Coronado Branch Railroad right-of-way, a portion of Walnut Avenue south of "H" Street, and a portion of an alley south of "H" Street, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, the 3rd day of August, 1971, in the Council Ch 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California, as hearing all persons interested in or objecting Council of the City of said vacation under the and hereby fixes Tuesday, embers in the Civic Center, the time and place for to the proposed vacation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published once in the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of general circulation published within the City of Chula Vista, and to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law.
