RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA REQUESTING A GRANT THROUGH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT
ASSISTANCE ACT AND THE CALIFORNIA COUNCIL OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
SAME
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the California Council on Criminal Justice
may consent to review for possible funding the project submitted
by the City of Chula Vista referred to as Stress Training (Police
Experience Film Module).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
City of Chula Vista is directed to execute on behalf of the City
of Chula Vista, the application for grant for law enforcement
purposes and special conditions attached thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Chula Vista
agrees to provide the required matching funds to said project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received here-
under shall not be used to supplant ongoing law enforcement
expenditures.
