RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA IP![POSING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE
MOVEI`~ENT OF VEHICLES AS CONTAINED IN THE TRAFFIC CODE
OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA AND THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE
CODE ON CERTAIN PRIVATE ST REETS AND PARKING AREAS
LOCATED IN THAT CERTAIN SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS EL RANCHO
DEL REY, UNIT NO. 2
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
determined, after public hearing, that those certain private streets
and parking areas located in that certain subdivision known as El
Rancho del Rey, Unit No. 2, more particularly described as:
Being a subdivision of a portion of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Quarter Section 17
and the Northeast Quarter of Quarter Section 36 in
Rancho de la Nacion in the City of Chula Vista, County
of San Diego, State of California, according to Map
thereof No. 166 by Morrill filed in the office of the
County Recorder of said San Diego County, containing
22.228 acres and 180 lots,
are of such a nature and character so as to constitute open and publicly
used streets and parking areas, allowing the public movement of vehicles
thereon, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has
further determined that it is in the public interest to regulate the
movement of vehicles thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista hereby imposes and makes applicable all provisions
of the Traffic Code of the City of Chula Vista and the California
Vehicle Code including, but not limited to, parking and stopping
regulations, speed and movement of vehicles.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall become
effective upon the posting of signs required in Article 24, Section
19.2402(3) of the Chula Vista City Code.
