RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA DEDICATING AND NAMING PREVIOUSLY ACCEPTED REAL
PROPERTY - A PORTION OF "J" STREET BETWEEN I-5 FREEWAY
AND MEAN HIGH TIDE LINE
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
Those certain grants of real property, made by grant deeds,
executed by Santa Fe Land Improvement Company, dated the 4th day of
May, 1948 and the 17th day of July, 1951, accepted by the City Council
of the City of Chula Vista by Resolution Nos. 906 and 1274, be, and
the same is hereby dedicated to the public use for street and highway
purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property, more par-
ticularly described in the attached Exhibit "A", is hereby officially
named "J" Street.

That portion of Quarter Section 1.70 of Rancho de la Nacion according to
Map thereof: No. 166, on file in the office of the County Recorder,
County of San Diego, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the jVesterly line of the Easterly 1.70
feet of said Quarter Section and the 1Vesterly prolongation of the center-
line of "J" Street;
Thence North 17°47'37" 19est, along said Iti'esterly line, 40.00 feet to a
point on t}ie arc of a 940 foot radius curve, concave Northerly, the
center of which bears North 18°51'03" Nest from said point; thence
IVesterly, along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of
Ol°03'26", a distance of 17.34 feet; thence tangent to said curve,
South 72°1"L'23" }Vest a distance of 563.26 feet to the beginning of a
tangent 540 foot radius curve to the right; thence Iti'esterly along the
arc of said curve, through a central angle of Ol°23'51", a distance of
13.17 feet to a point on the ordinary high water mark as shown on
Miscellaneous blap No. 217, records of said County; thence South 07°03'31"
East along said ordinary high ~~~ater mark, a distance of 88,96 feet to
Station 118 per said map; thence continuing along said ordinary high
water mark, South 03°39'44" West a distance of 33.75 feet to a point
on the arc of a 660 foot radius curve, concave Northerly, the center
of which bears North 14°08'15" }Vest from said point; thence Easterly,
along the arc of said curve, t}irough a central angle of 03°39'22", a
distance of 42.12 feet;
Thence tangent to said curve, North 72°12'23" East a distance of
563.26 feet to the beginning of a tangent 1060 foot radius curve to
the left;
Thence Easterly, along the arc of said curve, through a central angle
of 00°56'01", a distance of 16.29 feet to a point on the aforementioned
Westerly line of the Easterly 170 feet of said Quarter Section; thence
North 17°44'37" West, along said titi'esterly line, a distance of 80.02
feet to the Point of Beginning.
