Home My WebLink AboutReso 1973-6997~~ Form No~ 371 9-67 RESOLUTION N0.,6997 RESOLUTION aJF THE CITY COUNC.TL OF THE CITi' OF CHULA VISTA ELEti:.TrNG TO PRO~~EED UNDER fiHE F~tO~T:.SIONS OF" THE PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT VACATION LAW O~° 'THE ST'A'TE OP` CALTFORN3A, DECI:ARI~N% 'THE 1NI'ENTION 0~' `THE CITY COUNCIL T® 'VACATE AN EASEMENT' FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES, LOCATED AT THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST "J" STREET ADJACENT TO THE I-805 FREEWAY AND FIXING A I~.ME AND PLACE FOR HEAR~.NG THEREON The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREi~S, that certain easement for drainage purposes accepted by the Ca.ty Council of the City of Chula Vista by Resolution No~ 2373 , dated the 5th day of Janua~~ , 19 60, is no longer necessary, and ~~ WHEREASP the City Council of the City of Chula Vista has determined that the public interest and convenience of said City re- quire the vacation of said easement< NOW~~ 'THEREFOREo BE IT RESOLVED that it is the intention of the City Council to order the iacation of that certain easement executed by MR. A. A. SHARAMITARO more particularly described in Exhibit "A'" attached hereto and by this reference made a parr hereof, the same as though fully set forth herein BE zT r`'URTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby elects to proceed in making said vacation under the provi- sions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law of the State of Calif- ornia, and hereby fixes Tuesday ~ the 18th day of September , 1973 in the Counci~_ Chambers :in the Civic Center, 276FourtFi Avenue, Chula Vistas California, as the time and place for hearing all persons .interested in or ob~ectin.g to the proposed vacation BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula "t7ista be, and she is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published once i.n the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of gen- eral. circulation published within the City of Chula Vista and to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law Presented by Lane F.
