About Codification
This is a copy of one of eighteen ~i~inicipal Codes
which we have produced for California cities.';
Preceding it are sample pages showing proposed
modified format, and other observations.
Ability and morale of City personnel indicateps that
they are able , and desire, to contribute id ear to
this undertaking; and we would plan to maintain
communication with City Hall d~arin the work.. This
will be a pleasure for your codifier.
A lawyer can forego practice and write codes only
from motives other than money. Yet, it should pay
its own way.
Ede suggest the City pay eleven thousand dolla,~s,
in paymen is of one t.ho~isand dollars pis months and
bale nce upon adoption of Cade, provid ed the Code
does not exceed seven hundred pages, plus teni
dollars per additional pa ge in the unlikely e~went
of its runnin? over seven hundred pages. The.'
seven hundred pages to incl+~de index.
Above price would not incl~xde birders, as deprart-
ment s might desire different. types thereof, qr a
superior type may be found or developed prior to
distribution of copies of the Code.
