An estimated 2,500 tons of screenings (stone chips) will be ordered delivered to the City yard. Three vendors were mailed bidding documents. Two vendors submitted bids. See attached exhibit number 1 listing bid results. Conrock Company submitted the low bid at $5.36 per ton. Commission-Board Recommendation: Department Head Recommendation: Recommend acceptance of bids and awarding of contract to Conrock Company. City Manager Recommendation: Concur with Department Head. The Director of Public Works is awaiting an opportunity to describe the "L.A. Rattler Test" this year regarding this item. ~~ga~
