Item Title: Resolution - Approving agreement with San Diego
Transit Corporation

Background:
At the Council meeting of June 12, an agreement, as proposed
by San Diego Transit Corporation, was brought before the City
Council. The agreement called for the current level of service
in accordance with the expressed wishes of Council. The total
City contribution was $781, the balance of which is to be
secured from the City's share of SB 325 funds.
The Council deferred action on this item until after a meeting
could be held with representatives of San Diego Transit Corpora-
tion. Such a meeting and discussion took place at the adjourned
regular meeting on June 13. The original agreement proposal
was discussed and Council directed that this matter be brought
back to the Council at its meeting of June 19.
Also, at the meeting of June 13, San Diego Transit Corporation
indicated it would submit a revised agreement in time for the
mailing on Friday, June 15.
This item was continued from the meeting of June 19.
