HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1987-13204 RESOLUTION NO. 13204 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE STAFF RECOMMENDED PRIORITY LISTING FOR EXPENDITURE OF ENVIRONMENTAL LICENSE PLATE GRANT The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council authorized staff to submit an Environmental License Plate (ELP) Grant application on August 5, 1986; and, WHEREAS, the State budget included $150,000 of the $170,500 requested in the ELP grant for Nature Center exhibits construction; and, WHEREAS, the State Coastal Conservancy will meet on August 20, 1987 to consider the agreement with the City of Chul a Vista for the administration of ELP funds for the Nature Center exhibits; and, WHEREAS, staff has prepared a recommended priority listing for expenditure of Environmental License Plate Grant funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby approves the staff recommended priority listing for the expenditure of the Environmental License Plate grant. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby directs staff to forward the priority listing to the State Coastal Conservancy and Bayfront Conservancy Trust for their review and recommendations.
