[ 18 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: January 7, 1975 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Appropriating Funds and Accepting Bid for Installation of Fence; Hilltop Park INITIATED BY: Director of Parks and Recreation o n rvronitt~Tn In accord with Council policy concerning fence installation at Hilltop Park, with individual property owners on a 50-50 basis, the Parks and Recreation Department has received a request for fence installation. Three acceptable bids were received for the subject fence installation. Sears, Roebuck and Company submitted the low bid as follows: NAME/ADDRESS TOTAL BID AMOUNT CITY'S SHARE Hilltop Baptist Church $1,577.66 $788.83 740 Hilltop Drive A variance to a fence 6 feet in height, from the established standard 5 foot fence height, is requested in order to provide adequate protec- tion to the landscaped slope abutting the fence. An appropriation of $788.83 is requested from the unappropriated reserve of the General Fund.
