[ 12 ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: January 7, 1975 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Approving Change in Contract for East "H" Street Construction between Hilltop Drive and I-805 Freeway - Gas Tax Project #126 INITIATED BY: Director of Public Works/City Engineer ~, ) Rorxr,RniiNn The County of San Diego, County Engineer, by his letter dated December 19, 1974, accepted Change Order #1 for the construction of additional masonry walls along East "H" Street between Hilltop Drive and I-805 Freeway, Gas Tax Project #126. The change order consists of the addition of 1200 square feet of masonry garden wall at 150 Via de Laurencio and 518 Carvalos Drive, and a change in wall detail at 505 Hilltop Drive. These properties are in the County. The increase in contract cost amounting to $4,500 will be paid for by the County of San Diego.- The additional walls authorized by the County are necessary to protect the properties involved and to be consistent with the wall construction by the City. The change order also reflects a decrease in 4" Portland Cement concrete sidewalk on Claire Avenue south of "H" Street by 379.20 square feet, amounting to $360.24. The total change in the contract amount is $4,139.76, changing the total project cost from $353,495.85 to $357,635.61 ATTACHED: Resolution [X] Ordinance [ ] Agreement [ ] Plat [ ] See EXHIBITS [X] No. 1 Financial Statement: Additional cost to be paid for by the County of San Diego.
