BACKGROUND ~
On July 27, 1971 the City Council, by Resolutions 6145 and 61 6, approved
an agreement between the City of Chula Vista and the Sweetwat r
Community College District of San Diego County for East "H" S reet
right of way west of Otay Lakes Road and accepted an offer of dedication
for future street purposes. ~I
Subsequent to this action by the City Council, the precise al'gnment
for East "Ii" Street was approved and the street was construct d by
El Rancho del Rey Corporation in conjunction with the develop ent of
E1 Rancho del Rey Subdivision Units 1 and 2. The improvements were
accepted by City Council Resolution No. 7111 and 7112 on December 11,
1973.
Under terms of the aforesaid agreement, the City agreed that~if within a
reasonable period of time the property not needed or used fo~ the
purpose of extending East "H" Street would be returned to th District.
The portion being returned consists of all property previously offered
for dedication which lies between the southerly right of wayjline of
East "Ii" Street and Southwestern College.
The property offered by the District northerly of the northe~ly right
of way line of East "H" Street is being retained until prope ties on
the north side of East "H" Street have been developed. !,

of dedication accepted by City Council Resolution Pdo. 6146 o July 27,
1971 and lying southerly of the southerly right of way line f East "H"
Street to the Sweetwater Community College District of San Diego County.
