RESOLUTION NO. 13320
COMMENDING OTIS PEMBERTON POSTHUMOUSLY FOR HIS EXCELLENT
SERVICE ON THE TOWN CENTRE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE
The City Council o~ the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as
follows:
WHEREAS, Otis Pemberton had served on the Town Centre Project Area
Comm~ee since May of 1978, and
WHEREAS, as a Manager for San Diego Gas & Electric Company for many
years, Otis a~ays found time to attend the meetings regularly and provide
valuable advice to the development of the Town Centre I and Town Centre II
projects, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Pemberton managed to provide input from a citizen's
point of view as well as from a business angle in reviewing ale matters before
the Town Centre Project Area Committee, and
WHEREAS, his desire to give time to his community and help improve
conditions here have made a major contribution to our very diverse c~ty.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Chula Vista does hereby commend Otis Pemberton posthumously for his excellent
service on the Town Centre Project Area Committee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula
Vista be, and she is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this
resolution to Otis Pemberton's lovely widow, Mona.
