ITEM TITLE: Resolution #$069: Waiving Specific Requirements of the Municipal
Code for Swimming Pool Fencing - 279 Coralwood Court

Director of Building and Housing
On February 11, 1976, the Board of Appeals and Advisors approved a waiver on a
portion of the fencing requirements for swimming pool enclosures based on the
following facts:
1. The lot at 279 Coralwood Court has an elevation of 8 feet above the adjacent
property to the east.
2. There is an existing 4 foot high wood fence on the east property line.
3. Immediately adjacent to the 4 foot high wood fence is a 14 foot hedge of
Italian Cypress trees.

In summary, we have:
a) My existing lot with an approx. 30o slope dropping 10'
at property line.
b) An existing fence at an approx. 4' height.
c) Existing trees running parallel to specified fence area
(approx. 20" from fence), 14' tall, forming a natural barrier.
d) All other areas have been provided for (which approximates
100' of fencing) with a proposed 6' fence standard.
