Bids were received on October 16, 1975 at 11:00 A.M, in the City Council Chambers for the installation of 17 ramps. Bids were received from 5 contractors as follows Sapper Construction Co., San Diego $4,760.35 T.B. Penick and Sons, Inc., San Diego $5,513.48 W.H. Ledbetter and Son, Inc., San Diego $5,574.00 R.M. Farrell, Jamul, CA $6,505.80 G. Spikes Masonry, San Diego $7,025.00 The low bidder is Sapper Construction Company with a bid of $4,760.35 which is 16% below the engineer's estimate of $5,684.
