RESOLUTION NO. 8090
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE OWNER'S
CERTIFICATE ON PARCEL MAPS FOR CITY-OWNED PROPERTIES
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the State Subdivision i4ap Act now requires that
all Parcel Maps have an ownership certificate signed by the legal
owner, and
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista, a municipal corporation,
is the legal owner of property within the City which is subjected
to land surveys and development of Parcel Maps on a continuing
basis, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Mayor be specifically
authorized to sign the ownership certificate on behalf of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Chula Vista that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the
City all Parcel Maps filed by the City on City-owned parcels.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to forward a certi-
fied copy of this resolution to Recorder of San Diego County.
