RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS TRAFFIC
SIGNAL MODIFICATION OF BONITA ROAD AT 1-805 SOUTHBOUND
RAMP, ISLAND RECONSTRUCTION AND RESTRIPING OF TRAFFIC
LANES IN THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Chula
Vista has heretofore been notified that the contract work for
traffic signal modification of Bonita Road at 1-805 southbound'
ramp, island reconstruction and restripinq of traffic lanes
has been completed in accordance with that certain contract
agreement dated September 1, 1~7 , by and between the City of
Chula Vista and contractor, Steiny & Company, Inc.
and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of March, 19 88, a final
inspection was made and all of the public improvements in the
project have been completed to the satisfaction of the Director
of Public Works/City Engineer and in accordance with the
requirements of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista that said improvements be, and they are
hereby approved and accepted by said City, based upon the
recommendations of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution
to the contractor, Steiny & Company, Inc.
