[ q ] CHULA VISTA CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF: April 22, 19 75 ITEM TITLE: Resolution - Approving Sewer Repayment for Sewer Facilities from "F" Street to 400 Feet Nor of "E" Street INITIATED BY BACKGROUND: Director of Public Works/City Engineer ~\11~ On March 5, 1974, the City Council by Resolution No. 7213 approved an agreement with Harding C. Campbell for participating in the costs of the construction of a sewer main in the 100-200 block of Bay Boulevard. The Director of Public Works has prepared the repayment costs for the sewer facilities for all the properties that will be benefited from said construction as required by the agreement. The contract work for the sewer facilities was completed on October 7, 1974 and accepted on October 16, 1974 by Resolution No. 7491. The costs of constructing the sewer have been spread in accordance with generally acceptable 1911 Improvement Act Assessment procedures based upon frontage and area of the parcels. On March 11, 1975, City Council approved the second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 1614 which set the interest rate of 7~ per annum to be added to the reimbursement charge in connection with any sewer repayment agreement. The ordinance took effect on April 11, 1975. A transparency is available for Council viewing.
