HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1975-7794RESOLUTION NO. 7794 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING AND ADOPTING UNIFORM BUILDING VALUATIONS The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution No. 5656 endorsing the principle of uniform standards for building regulations throughout San Diego County, and WHEREAS, the existing building valuations as set forth in City Council Resolution No. 7041 are not uniform with the val- uations proposed by the San Diego Area Chapter of the International Conference of Building Officials. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that Resolution No. 7041 be, and the same is hereby rescinded. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby approve and adopt the Schedule of Average Building Valuations, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full. TRACT DWELLINGS - More than 10 units - Reduce valuation by 10~ each unit when 10 or more permits are taken out at one time. -1- 7794 MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS - Determine the valuation from the sum of the floor area of all stories. PILE FOUNDATIONS - Increase the valuation by $5.00 per lineal foot of pile for cast-in- place concrete piles and $12.50 per lineal foot of pile for steel and pre-cast concrete piles. Apply other dwelling cost modifier as follows: fireplace $625.00; forced-air heat $625.00; wood shingles or wood shakes, 60~ per square foot; the roof 70t per square foot; extra plumbing, $250.00 per fixture for more than six bathroom fixtures.
