Home My WebLink AboutReso 1975-7758RESOLUTION T7O. 7758 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ESTABLISHING GREENS FEES The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: NOP7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City o£ Chula Vista that the following fees be, and the same are hereby established as the standard greens fees for the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course: STANDARD GREENS FEES Number of Rounds Applicable Days/Times/Months 18 D4onday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) 18 Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays 9 P4onday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) 9 Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays 18 PQonday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) after 4:00 p.m., from May 1 to September 30; after 2:30 p.m. from October 1 to April 30. (Said hours shall be subject to adjustment by the management from time to time and shall be posted at the golf course.) 18 Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays after 4:00 p.m., from P4ay 1 to Septem- ber 30; after 2:30 p.m. from October 1 to April 30. (Said hours shall be sub- ject to adjustment by the management £rom time to time and shall be posted at the golf course.) 18 Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays; surcharge with monthly ticket as described herein. STUDET7T GREENS FEES Non-college students who have not reached their eighteenth birthday. 18 Monday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) after 3:00 p.m. SENIOR CITIZET7 GREENS FEES Greens Fees Charge $4.00 $5.00 $2.25 $2.75 $2.25 $2.75 $1.50 $1.50 Must be at least 62 years of age; no residency require- ment; no reserved tee-off times. 18 Pdonday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) $2.50 9 Monday through Friday (excluding legal holidays) $1.50 LADIES' DAY GREEDIS 18 Tuesdays only; except when a legal holiday falls on a Tuesday $3.00 - 1 - STANDARD MONTHLY TICKET - RESIDENT The cost of a standard monthly ticket is hereby established as $20.00. Said monthly ticket shall entitle the purchaser to play a maximum of 18 holes of golf per day, except that said ticket shall not be valid on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holi- days as hereinafter defined, provided, however, that said monthly ticket will be honored on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays after designated times to be set by the management upon the pay- ment of a surcharge of $1.50. The suggested times for such use of monthly tickets on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays shall be as follows: April 1 - October 31 3:00 p.m. November 1 - A4arch 31 2:00 p.m. Said hours shall be subject to adjustment by the management from time to time and shall be posted at the golf course. STANDARD MONTHLY TICKET - NON-RESIDENT The cost of a standard monthly ticket is hereby established as $25.00. Said monthly ticket shall entitle the purchaser to play a maximum of 18 holes of gol£ per day, except that said ticket shall not be valid on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays as hereinafter defined, provided, however, that said monthly ticket will be honored on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays after designated times to be set by the management upon the payment of a surcharge of $1.50. The suggested times for such use of monthly tickets on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays shall be as follows: April 1 - October 31 3:00 p.m. November 1 - March 31 2:00 p.m. Said Yiours shall be subject to adjustment by the management from. time to time and shall be posted at the golf course. STUDENT MONTHLY TICKET - RESIDENT The cost of a student monthly ticket is hereby established as $10.00. Said monthly ticket shall entitle students as hereinabove defined to play a maximum of 18 holes per day after the hour of 3:00 p.m., subject to any rules, regulations or restrictions im- posed by the management of the Chula Vista I•iunicipal Golf Course. The student monthly ticket will be honored on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after designated times to be set by the manage- ment upon the payment of a surcharge of seventy-five cents (75fi). Student tickets may also be issued to members of any golf team representing colleges or junior colleges located in Chula Vista during the competition golf season only, provided, further, that the Parks and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to waive greens fees for the opponents of local high school and college golf teams at regularly scheduled matches at the Chula Vista Diuni- cipal Golf Course. Said monthly ticket shall entitle students as hereinabove defined to play a maximum of 18 holes per day after the hour of 3:00 p.m., subject to any rules, regulations or restrictions imposed by the management of the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course. - 2 - The student monthly ticket will be honored on Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after designated times to be set by the management upon the payment of a surcharge of seventy-five cents (75~). The individual must be at least 62 years of age. 2. Play is restricted to weekdays only, holidays excluded. 3. No reserved tee-off times are permitted at the reduced senior citizen rate. LEGAL HOLIDAYS DEFINED For the purpose of this resolution, legal holidays are defined as follows: January 1, New Year's Day; February 12, Lincoln's Birthday; third Monday in February, Washington's Birthday; last Monday in May, Memorial Day; July 4, Independence Day; first D9onday in September, Labor Day; September 9, Admission Day; second Monday in October, Columbus Day; November 11, Veterans' Day; fourth Thursday in November, Thanksgiving; and December 25, Christmas. PRIOR CO2~IITMENTS Any commitments made prior to July 1, 1975 concerning greens fees for tournaments will be honored.
