ITEM TITLE: Resolution^ - Approving agreement with Steve Halsey Associates to perform
landscape services relative to Mueller School site

ITEM EXPLANATION:
This item was held over from the meeting of July 29, 1975, at Council's request.
A report is attached from the Director of Planning regarding the workload of the
City's Landscape Architect. From this, it can be seen that, due to related
daily activities, it could take considerable time to do the required work.
Several on-going jobs including the Bayfront Project landscape concept plan would
have to be delayed.
Be advised that the funds, per HUD regulations, must be encumbered by April 30, 1976.
Our current schedule, should an outside consultant be chosen, would be to have the
plans ready for bid in October, with most planting done over the Christmas holidays.
If this timing is not observed, it could delay the project until the end of the school
year and thus jeopardize the use of the funds.
Financial Statement
Funds are available in an amount not to exceed $7,500, in Block Grant Account Number
24-1740-5569.
