CITY
Honorable Mayor, City Council
and William J. Winters, Chief
of Police
City of Chula Vista, California
Gentlemen:
May 21, 1975
~~
Due to the increased costs of operating and maintenance of equipment, we are
respectfully requesting that the fee schedule for police towing be revised
upward as shown on Enclosure 1.
Enclosure 2 is an example of how our costs have risen since the 11/24/72 fee
schedule adjustment.
We are requesting an average fee adjustment of 23%, while our costs incurred
have risen significantly since 1972 as reflected on Enclosure 2. It is
expected that our costs will rise an additional 10 to 12% within the next year.
Respectfully submitted,
Paxton Towing
