The Chula Vista City Council has already approved an agreement (Resolution 8294) and an amendment to the agreement (Resolution 8306) to provide such services. These agreements were forwarded to the County for action by the Board of Supervisors. The County staff prepared a more detailed agreement which they find more acceptable than the ones passed by the Chula Vista City Council. After incorporating the revisions suggested by City staff, there is no objection to the agreement prepared by the County. The revisions that have been incorporated in this contract that were not included in the contract already approved by City Council are administrative in nature and do not affect scheduling, fares or transit system operations. On September 28, 1976, the County Board of Supervisors approved the attached agreement. It is recommended that City Council approve the agreement. A transparency is available for Council viewing.
